Mawby & King Ltd supplies five product categories: Mirror glass (manufactured in-house using advanced water-based, lead-free coating technology); Aluminium Mirror (imported with enhanced corrosion resistance and tested by our mirror manufacturing team); Lacquered glass (available in any colour on clear, satin or patterned glass); Clear glass (including clear float, low iron, bronze, grey, dark grey tinted and patterned glass); and Processed glass (CNC cutting, edging, drilling, shaping, bevelling and toughening to exact customer specifications). Products are available as fully finished items or as stock sheets.
Our mirror is manufactured using an advanced water-based coating process that is 100% lead-free. The resulting mirror delivers corrosion resistance that far exceeds industry standard requirements. Our manufacturing line was first installed in 1988 and has been enhanced multiple times to incorporate the latest coating technologies. The current generation of mirror has been in production since 2022, representing our cleanest and most durable formulation to date.
Mawby & King provides a weekly delivery service throughout the United Kingdom, and we also deliver across Europe. Stock items are typically available for the next scheduled delivery. Custom processed items and special colour lacquered glass may require additional lead time. Contact our sales team for specific delivery schedules and lead times for your requirements.
Both mirror and lacquered glass are available as stock sheets in two standard sizes: 2550mm x 3210mm and 1070mm x 2550mm. These can be purchased in single sheets or packs. Other sizes are available on request. Safety film can be supplied on sizes up to 1320mm x 2550mm. Our processing capabilities allow us to cut, edge and shape to virtually any specification.
